We were asked to make a marketable object (such as a t-shirt) of a person that we looked up to, as a manner to pay them tribute or homage. 

As a cinematic enthusiast I chose on of my favorite directors- Guillermo del Toro. Since a lot of people know his movies but don't really know his face, I knew that I would need to associate him with one of his most famous characters- Hellboy, because I sense that all of Guillermo Del Toro's characters have a little of him in them. 

With that idea in mind, i drew a vectorized portrait of Guillermo Del Toro and of Hellboy. Most of my inspiration to sintetize as much as possible came from the POP Figures (very popular and collectible dolls/figures that represent a lot of comic book characters among others).
